Run club is up and "running". We had our inaugural run on November 8, 2009 at Snap Fitness Thornhill. Three people left the gym at 8:35 am. On a beautiful fall day in full sunshine, we set out on the path west of Don Mills road. Two people did a 6 km route and one person did a 10 km route. A Thornhill personal trainer, met the runners half way into their run to monitor their progress. Thornhill fitness has become a habit for many in the community and the Thornhill run club adds another component to the weight training and other cardio options at the gym.
Next week we hope to add more runners to our club and I'm sure it will grow over time.
